It was a fight to the end, and a close one at that, but we’re ready to announce the reigning queen of all things breakfast from our Big Brunch Smackdown.

In a surprise twist, we are thrilled to officially declare TWO winners of our Brunch Smackdown contest. Heather’s East Coast-inspired brunch and Andrea’s ode to all things bacon finished in a dead heat for first place.

Votes aside, all of our bloggers were winners to us. From the many comments, it’s obvious that our blog readers were torn over who to vote for, too. We loved Maria’s all-out brunch plan, Laura’s prep-ahead brunch for busy mornings, Mardi’s decadent French-inspired brunch of croissant bread puddings, and Tammi’s fresh brunch solution.
